1. What are microfibers?

Microfibers are synthetic fibers less than 1 denier in size. Microfiber cloths are preferred when cleaning sensitive surfaces. Microfibers are extremely small polishing fibers densely woven together in such a way which allows them to clean and lift contaminants from surfaces without scratching.

2. What is a denier?

denier is a measurement of fiber and filaments. Each denier is .001 of an inch. A denier is 11 times smaller than a strand of silk.

3. How do they clean?

It takes thousands of microfibers woven together to create the material in our product. The microfiber grabs and holds onto dust and debris as it cleans. Microfibers can hold up to 7 times their weight in liquid, and also have anti-bacterial properties. Microfiber Information

4. How do I clean dirt from a lens?

Gently use the microfiber cloth directly on the lens to remove dust and debris. For stubborn debris, pair microfiber with our lens cleaner for an impeccable shine.

5. Will it scratch?

No. When kept maintained, microfiber will clean sensitive surfaces without damage.

6. How do I clean my microfiber cloth?

Simply wash in warm water with a mild detergent and rinse well. You can also put your microfiber cloth product in the washing machine and lie flat to dry. DO NOT use bleach or fabric softeners as they can make the cloth less effective. DO NOT iron microfiber; it will flatten the fibers that clean.

7. What is neoprene?

Neoprene is a synthetic rubber with limitless applications. Neoprene is a durable, flexible material that can withstand large swings in temperature and environment.

8. What is dye sublimation?

Dye sublimation is a printing process that goes directly from a solid state to a gas state using heat. Since there is no liquid ink, the process leaves clear, concise graphics. Dye Sublimation

9. How do I put the cloth back in the pouch?

Holding onto the pouch, use your index fingers to push the microfiber cloth back into its housing. Video Demonstration

12. Does printing damage the microfiber?

No. We use a highly specialized printing process called dye sublimation that transfers colors to the microfiber without changing the diameter of the fibers.

13. What  is the difference between an Original Spudz and an Ultra Spudz?

An Original Spudz has an open end for quick access to the microfiber cloth. Ultra Spudz has a flip end to securely hold the microfiber cloth in place.

Please make sure raster images or photos (JPEG, PNG or BMP) are a minimum of 300 dpi. We do not suggest using GIFs for photographs due to the lack of quality they produce.
